Michael Jenkins is the Director of Capital Markets for Brennan Investment Group. He has been involved in a number of debt and equity assignments with the company, and has assisted with due diligence in several acquisitions. Prior to working with Brennan Investment Group, he held the position of EVP/Chief Investment Officer for The Abbey Company, and President of its investment subsidiary that undertook the company’s commercial property acquisitions, property/portfolio financing, joint venture management, and capital markets activities. While at Abbey Company, Mr. Jenkins arranged and managed joint ventures with institutional partners involving over $300 million in equity investments in commercial property acquisitions.
Mr. Jenkins is experienced in commercial real estate finance, acquisitions, capital markets, investment banking, and joint venture formation/asset management. He has been involved in commercial real estate transactions nationwide, and has in depth experience in real estate contracts, loan documentation, CMBS agreements, commercial leases, and joint venture agreements.
Mr. Jenkins has held previous positions as Managing Director-Capital Markets at The Shidler Group; Vice-President Real Estate Investment Banking at Goldman Sachs & Co.; National Director-Investment Sales at Cushman & Wakefield; and Director-Real Estate Finance at Dillingham Corporation.
Mr. Jenkins has also previously been involved as an investment banking consultant for several major commercial real estate firms, including The Irvine Company, Thompson National Properties, Gerson Bakar & Associates, Wilsey Bennett & Co., and SIMEON Commercial Properties, where he advised on and arranged private and public debt and equity capital for these companies and/or their property portfolio.
Mike Jenkins holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) Degree in Corporate Finance (1971), and a Bachelor Degree in Economics, from University of California, Los Angeles (1969).
